Thursday 5-My Loves

It's Thursday. I'm breathing a big sigh of relief because there is only one
more day left to this week for me. I am off this Saturday!

What makes it even better is that it's Thursday Five..Where we get to look back on our week and and come up with 5 things that have made us..

1. I was overly happy when giving Little E a bath the other night. He asked me to sit down and play with him and his foam bath letters. He knew about half of the letters and numbers by sight! I was so happy for my little guy who was a late talker compared to his sister.
2. There are only 4 days left of school for Miss K and they have it pretty low key for those last days. I will be volunteering, donating and participating with a pizza party on Monday and she can't wait for me to be there. I'm looking forward to it!

3. I think I more excited and nervous than Miss K about her recital this Saturday evening. I asked her if she was nervous and she nonchalantly answered me, "no mom". Really?!

4. I am jubilant that I finally made it through the mountain of laundry that I had been tackling since I left the weekend before for a my mini-vaca. But, there is a growing pile in the laundry basket again. It never ends.

5. I am thankful to have wonderful friends. My IRL friends and I have been so busy and haven't had time together. But a quick phone call or a instant message brought a smile to my face this week.

If you want to play along..then write your five and link up with Keely at MannLand5.

Found you through the Thursday 5... I had to take a peek since our blog names are so close & so glad I did.

I feel you on the landry. It's never freaking ending. By the tme I'm done fighting with the kids to put it away, there's just more to do. I honestly considered moving to a nudist colony just to stop the insanity. But then I remembered I don't want o inflict the sight of me naked on the general public. ha!

Doesn't it always make you feel better when you get some cleaning task that's been sitting finally finished! :)
I love how excited I get when my son learns his numbers and letters and stuff on his own. He just finished K yesterday and has improved so much this year I can't believe it. Last night and this morning he was writing his numbers and doing his sight words by himself! :) Way to go E! So fun :)
Enjoy the Recital. I know Miss K will do awesome! :)

I'm following you :) Isn't it awesome when they start recognizing stuff and telling you what it is? My daughter was a very late talker and every time she says a new word I get really giddy!! I hope you'll follow me back :)

Hey Tiffany! My laundry and house chores are piling up now that I sprained my ankle. So that is a good one for the list. I hope all is well with you!

I talked to a friend I hadn't talked to in months...and it was just as easy as if we talked every day..I was gonna use that as one of my five's but..I didn't..

I'm nervous about Emrsyn's gymnastics meet tomorrow and it's just a practic one..I don't think she's nervous at all..crazy kids! ;-)

Thanks for playing!!
