Where the Rainbow ends

Wow! Where has the week gone?
After last Friday and handling my emotional roller coaster weekend
I am back to m regular blogging style.
Without further ado..... I am linking up with Mama M and answering some 5QF.
Hey..why not!? She used one of my questions this week!!

1. Did you have a favorite blanket or toy as a kid? If so, do you still have it? Yes, I had a stuffed animal named "Charlie Junior". He was a gift for my 3rd birthday from my maternal grandmother on the last birthday she was here with us before passing away. I loved that ddog and slept with him until middle school. I still have him to this day in a trunk of memorabilia of mine from my childhood.

2. Do you dream in color? yes I do. Sometimes they are so vivid. It stinks when I can't remember the great dreams moments after waking up.
3. How tall are you? Do you wish you were shorter or taller? I am 5'8". I am actually happy with my height and have never wanted to be any other size. It's a very average size and I'm satisfied with it.

4. If you could have anyone's (celeb or other) voice as the guide on your GPS, who would it be?I would have to say Ryan Reynolds. He is so yummy and having his voice tell me where to go, well I think I would most certainly use my in vehicle GPS a whole lot more. I would use it even when I know where I'm going to just hear his sexy voice telling me what to do. Who wouldn't!?
5. Do you return your shopping cart to the corral or leave it wherever in the parking lot?
This all depends on what store I am at and what mood I am in. Walmart and Target have tons of cart corrals so almost 9 times out of 10 I will put it in the corral. At Publix or anywhere else that has limited cart corrals, I usually just pull it in front of my van and make sure it doesn't roll away. And if the kids are "circling the drain" I will leave the cart by the van and go, no matter where I am at.

Last night a storm was coming through with lightning, thunder and dark clouds.
We were preparing to get another bad thunderstorm.
Then it started to clear up and this beautiful rainbow showed up in the sky.
Usually I spot a rainbow and it disappears quickly as it showed up
but this one lingered long enough for me to
photograph it and then sit down and enjoy it's beauty
A rainbow has such a special meaning to me and it rings true
that the Lord will provide. Through all our storms
there is a rainbow at the end. You just have to look for it.

I'm linking up with these great blog carnivals
to meet new people and say hello to some current people
Have a great Friday ya'll!

Hope you find your rainbow at the end of the day!

Tuesday Three: with me!

Stepping back into my blogging today I
have decided to link up with Miss JLA at
Stilettos & a fishing pole with her new blog meme
the second week running. If you haven't met her yet, what
are you waiting for? Get over there...Tell her I sent ya.

this week's three she has asked what 3 things would
she and I do if she came to my hometown.

well. my hometown has nothing to offer and the
city I live in now has nothing either. Unless we're hungry, need
gas or want to go shopping 24 hours at Walmart.
So I'm going to go to some favorite places of mine in my area.

1. Wekiva Falls
I just recently discovered this place and it is an awesome, refreshing
spring fed water hole.
Since it's not a State Park alcoholic beverages and not banned
and there's nothing better than 72 degree water when it's 98 degrees out
and you have a cold one in your hand. Ahhh.
better yet, there are loads of picnic tables to eat, bbq and enjoy the
entire day.

2. New Smyrna Beach
Most tourists want to head to Daytona Beach but as a born and bred
Floridian we know to stay away from there!
New Smyrna is a beautiful family beach with white sand, plenty of vendors
Atv's to rent, large areas to sent up the canopy, pull out the coolers and
enjoy the beach. And you can still drive or park off beach and walk
on if you prefer.

New Smyrna Beach 2 Pictures, Images and Photos

3. Four wheeling on ATV's
We may not have 1000's of acres to ride but here in the
woods of Volusia County we know where to find mud holes, creeks and
trails to get dusty, dirty and muddy!
We'll grab a cooler loaded with ice, beer and anything else to drink and
spend the day playing on the four wheelers for the day.

Where would you go?
Head over to Miss JLA's blog, write your three
and link up!!

Thank You

I want to thank all of my new followers from Friday Follow,
New Friend Friday, Follow Me Chicka Dee and Friendly Follow
and Free Comment Weekend
I have been away from my blogging all weekend and have not been
able to respond back to all your comments and
have not been able to follow back to others.
I had some personal family issues to deal with
that are first and foremost important.
I should be back to my regular blogging style by the weekend.
I am okay and need to spend some time repairing and
taking care of what needs to be done.
I will update more and write a post explaining what has been
going on.
I love you all and hope you understand.

Bye Bye Friday

This is for the wrap up of this week
Looking to find some new blogs out there!
Sit back, stay awhile and hope you like what you read!

friday-followNew Friend Fridays
Lick it! Put a stamp on it! This week is over
and send it on it's merry way!

Venti, Please

I found this really cute blog carnival over at my friend Stef's blog
Layton Family Joy.
I love my coffee and I'm such a random
thinker which makes this blog carnival
hosted by Under Grace and Over Coffee
a perfect Friday link up.

I've been trying to keep it together this week and I've been so stressed. I work only
eight hours a week, 4 on Tuesday and 4 on Thursday and I'm home
with the kids the rest of the week. I think working full time I was more relaxed about
VBS than this year.
It didn't help that today was not going very well. I don't like to be a
complainer but this day was one of "those" days.
It started Wednesday night.
Last night on the way home I stopped at Target to get kitten food. They did not
have my regular brand of Purina ONE so I got the expensive Iams.
While I was buying the food, Miss K used the restroom near the Pharmacy.
Right before I pull down my road Miss K tells me that she left her
bracelet in the bathroom. Yay! And this is 9:45 at night, Target closes at 10.
I called and they find the bracelet and tell me they will put it in the
Lost and Found and we can pick it up the next day.
After getting home with the kitten food I poured the food into the
This morning I get up late, the kids are giving me a hard time and
the coffee is cold. Which I have to microwave..
I start feeding the animals and go to pour kittie's food and the lid pops off
and my whole bag of food dumps on the laundry room floor!!
I salvage what I can and dump the rest that is mixed with cat litter on the floor.
When I finally get the kids out of the house I drop
Little E's cup and spill his milk all over the place!
After leaving work I decide to take the van to get it washed.
BIG mistake.
I use a car wash that I never use and it rips the flashing from the
underside of the van but I don't realize it until I'm about 300 feet from
the place. I pull over to see what the noise was and cannot remove
the plastic because I don't have tools!
It's like 300 degrees outside, I'm stuck on the side of the road, melting and
I have to call my dad to help me.
After removing this piece I head to Honda to set up an
appointment to have it replaced on my van.
I head to VBS in a rush hoping to enjoy the kids.
I wish I had skipped. The kids were HORRIBLE!
We actually had to give time outs to kids at bible school!
I felt like a babysitter tonight.
It was the icing on the cake.
No wait! The worst was yet to come.
Little E missed his nap today and fell asleep after
daddy picked him up. Daddy puts him to bed and he
wakes up when I get home at 9:30.
Can we say I'm glad Friday is here and the weekend is near.
I need a LARGE cup of strong coffee.
Venti, please.

Thursday 5-Farewell

Well I would normally be linking up with Keely at Mannland5
for some Thursday 5 but she has decided to retire this blog carnival.
I was all set to post my five things this week that have made
me Happy, Jubilant, Joyful, Ecstatic and Giggly
I am sad to see it go and she has given her blessing to anyone
who wants to continue it on their own blog.
As much as I would love to maybe one day
so farewell to another bloggy carnival
this will be my own last edition of Thursday Five

I laughed so hard when Little E opened his birthday gift from my
BIL who came without his wife and grabbed the wrong gift bag and it was
body soap, lotion and a foot pumice
I couldn't stop giggling

I am happy to report that I got my housecleaning and laundry
started yesterday amidst the heavy load of things I have on
my plate this week

I am joyful that I have not gained a pound after
consuming cake 3 days in a row

I am ecstatic that my birthday is less than a month away
even though I will be a year older. I am excited because
it falls on a Friday this year!

I spent the afternoon on Wednesday hanging in the kiddie
pool at my house with Little E and Miss Kay, what
couldn't be more jubilant than that?

I am linking up with Legally Brunette
for her edition of Thursday 5

Thank You VERY Much

I'm feeling like this week requires some venting and the best way
to do that without seeming to snippy

Without any sarcasm THANK YOU VERY MUCH
Kmama at The Daily Dribbles for hosting TYVM

To the cashier at Dunkin Donuts for offering a dozen donuts on sale in lieu of a twisted bagel that she was out of. I really did not need 10 donuts for me to eat after the kids each consumed one. Thank you very much!

To the other patron at Walmart who made me wait for what seemed like forever to grab an item of soap. Why is when you're waiting for some one to finish deciding what they want that they take that much longer? It drives me nuts! Thank you very much you rude person for making me get a little more angry while shopping at Walmart.

To the third and final 13x9 cake that I made. Thank you very much fro falling apart and forcing me to buy a cake for Little E's birthday.

To my selfish, dimwitted BIL who showed up two hours late to my son's birthday party then called MY cell phone during the gifts to complain to my husband that the park was FULL and the park rangers wouldn't let him in. Thank you very much for being such an ass and pissing me off.

Thank you to the church teenage drama queen for making us look like a bunch of monkeys effing a football at the closing of VBS Monday night when you yelled QUIET!!! to the kids to get their attention. Yeah that looked very Christ-like in front of the parents. Thank you very much.

To my DVR cable box that decides to malfunction every morning requiring me to reset it before watching any tv. Thank you very much for making me wait. Just give me one more week to replace you so I can watch everything on your hard drive.

To my "friends", when I text you or leave you a voicemail, the least you can do is respond or call back. Thank you very much for ignoring me because I know your phones are ALWAYS on.

To my friends who invite us to dinner to celebrate your birthday. The least you could do would be to acknowledge that we showed up and thank us for coming and dragging the kids out on a weeknight, after hurrying to get there after work. Thank you very much, take a hint!

Product Review: Proportions

I recently received some samples from a few companies to review for them.
The first product that I reviewed was Proportions Dog Food.
This dog food was reviewed and tested by my dogs Bella and Ryelee.
But this is no ordinary dog food. It is like their tag line, "whole food nutrition program".
It was amazing!
It's a three part combination of dry kibble, wet food which included real chicken, pumpkin soup and peas to name just a few of the ingredients and
freeze dried veggies which had carrots, beans and other dried herbs.
When you order from Proportions each meal is tailor made for YOUR dog and comes prepacked for each meal, all you do is open the packs, pour and watch your dog's tail wag!

Bella- She gobbled her food

Ryelee- My "picky eater" was gobbling his

My dogs were sad when I had no more samples to give them and I will be
signing up to buy their dog food from this company. Their food was so nutritious and
I love my dogs like my children and they deserve good food too, not just dog food.
If you would like a free trial - just use the code TNTrial19

*Disclaimer: A sample product was provided to me in exchange for my honest review. The opinions and thoughts expressed are my own. I received no other compensation for my review nor was I under any obligation to give a positive review or host a giveaway.

Pour Your Heart Out:Sacrifices

Pour Your Heart Out

It's anything that YOU consider pouring your heart out. There isn't ever a theme or topic that you have to blog about- it's completely a personal thing.

Please grab the button for your post and link up with Shell at Thing's I Can't Say.

Again, just a brief reminder that everyone linking is pouring their hearts out and we should all be respectful in our comments. ;)

We all make sacrifices. The biggest thing I sacrifice is time. I am beginning to regret my sacrifice and I feel bad about it. Especially because what it means for regretting it. This has been a busy month. It's taking it's toll on me and I am sad that I am getting aggravated by the crunch.

This month has been so busy for me that I have had to make my phone send me alarms and messages to make sure I keep my schedule straight. I have skipped some stuff to allow for other things to happen. I say this year after year that I will not volunteer for it but I some how let myself get pulled in. I am regretting Vacation Bible School because of how much time I have to put into to it and how it affects me. I lose time with my kids, keep Miss K up late and miss out on fun activities with Little E who is too little to attend our program.

But on the other hand I enjoy spending time with the other 35 or so other children I see at VBS. There are about a dozen that I have seen come every year and they look forward to seeing me. Most of the children that attend our VBS come from broken homes, low income families. It warms my heart when I see them walk in and enjoy the two hours they spend with us. How could I miss and not see them? They only get five days of me and my kids will have me the other 360 days.

But why do I feel so guilty for sacrificing my time with them? It has been so hard to rush around in the late afternoon to get ready for VBS and make it there on time. I get upset and frustrated and wish I had not signed up. Tuesday night I noticed that I was more agitated and depressed that I have not been having family dinner time.

I am looking forward to the busy week to be over. I feel that I am sacrificing my children's time for other children. I know that God understands because I am doing his work. I am spreading his word to children who may not hear it any other time. They deserve my best face and attitude. It's just hard battle to face every day. It's one of those times that I cannot have my cake and eat it too. Life is about choices. I hope I'm making the right one.

I am so glad it's Sunday because I will be celebrating my little man's birthday at one of our local State Parks with a cool springs that will help beat this heat. We will be grilling and enjoying some yummy homemade foods I have labored over for two days and enjoying the sunshine with a dozen little friends.
I am also excited that I will be linking up with Keely at Mannland5 with some Getting to Know You. I've been absent from this meme for a few weeks and I'm missing it.

Photography 07/16

I took this photo today of my friend's daughter giving some loving to my doggy Bella. My dog was simply terrified being around 14 kids at a pool slide play date. But she gave Miss L a kiss to show some doggy love.

Then she got some loving from Miss K. She loves her Bella girl!

Five Question Friday-Is it Friday??

I think I missed a few weeks of some 5QF
and I am feeling a bit adventurous
I'm freaking out that it's Friday!
This week flew by and I have so many loose ends to tie up!
Little E's birthday party is this Sunday and my church's
Vacation Bible School starts next Monday
I'll pull it all together, I always do.
Just venting and stressing....
Now for some de stressing

1. Do you collect anything? I used to collect frog figurines and they had to be tree frogs. But I stopped collecting after I had Miss K. I got tired of collecting things that collect dust. Blech!

2. Name 3 celebrities that you find good looking. Matthew McConaughey-yum!!, Ryan Reynolds, yummier! and Taylor Lautner- he is a hot looking young guy! Rawr!

3. Do you have any scars? If so, what's the story behind them? I have a 1/4" scar on my right hand that I got while horsing around with a boy while working at the grocery store I used to work at.
I also have a 1/2" scar on the same hand on the underside. I got it from smacking a broken push pin that was on my parent's front door.
I also have a scar on my right knee that I got as a child around the age of 7 or 8. My dad had a rusted trailer that he pulled behind his riding lawn mower and once I was following behind him and he stopped suddenly and I ran into it. The rusted metal sliced into my knee and cut it pretty bad.
4. What is a food that you like to eat, but others might think it's gross or weird?
Banana, mayonnaise, peanut butter sandwich, toasted.
Toasted garlic bread dipped in mayonnaise
Fried pickles dipped in honey mustard

5. Have you ever seen a tornado in real life? no, I have been in several hurricanes though. Hurricane Charlie would be the scariest I went through. It came through on my birthday in 2004. Scary.

I need a Bigger Battery

I found this over at Mommy Loves Stilettos if you haven't been over there, then you need to go check her out! Like yesterday!! I checked out her girl who wrote it and went as far back at The Water Witch's Daughter. This went quite far back! So if you're reading this and feeling frisky, consider yourself tagged.

1. I’ve come to realize that my chest-size…can resemble post baby curves and voluptuous look again.

2. I’ve come to realize that my job….is endearing, rewarding, life changing and more words than I describe in one paragraph.

3. I’ve come to realize that when I’m driving…that idiot drivers seem to always get in my way.

5. I’ve come to realize that I have lost…my short term memory.

6. I’ve come to realize that I hate.... hypocrites.

7. I’ve come to realize that if I’m drunk…I'm going to have a headache the next morning and I'll still have to get up with the kids at 6:30am.

8. I’ve come to realize that money….is not the secret to success.

9. I’ve come to realize that certain people…will never change and you can do nothing about it but watch them self destruct.

10. I’ve come to realize that I’ll always…love my children no matter what mistakes they make or if they break my heart along the way.

11. I’ve come to realize that my sibling(s)…must be accepted for who they are.

19. I’ve come to realize that today…that I will never, ever, ever sign up to do Vacation Bible School with my mother again. Mark my words.

20. I’ve come to realize that my best friend(s)…are the backbones of my daily living.

21. I’ve come to realize that my spouse…is my rock.

22. I’ve come to realize that I really want to…finish reading the Twilight series because I've had all 4 books for about a year now.

23. I’ve come to realize that life…is what you make of it.

24. I’ve come to realize that this weekend…is going to be busy, but I will not stress out. I want to enjoy it and go with the flow.

25. I’ve come to realize that next weekend…I will be chilling out and not running around crazy anywhere!

26.I’ve come to realize that my children…have their own dreams in life, and it is not my right to try to choose their way.

27. I’ve come to realize that when life gives you lemons….make sweet tea and squeeze the lemons in! Take it easy, sit back and relax!

Celebrating His 3rd Birthday

Sorry this photo is hard to make out the hubs took this with his Iphone and ruined the quality
Last night we took Little E out to dinner for
his Birthday.
We took him to Texas Roadhouse our local steak place
The kids enjoy eating their yeast rolls and actually
eat the food from the kids menu.
The best part when it's your birthday, the servers come clapping
and singing to ya and you get to climb up on a real western saddle and
yell YEA HAW!!!
Miss K told our friendly waiter that it was Little E's Birthday.
Within minutes they came clapping and singing to our table.
Being the shy boy he is lately, Little E covered his face
as he rode the saddle.
It was a great evening!

Pour Your Heart Out: Venom

Pour Your Heart Out

It's anything that YOU consider pouring your heart out. There isn't ever a theme or topic that you have to blog about- it's completely a personal thing.

Please grab the button for your post and link up!

Again, just a brief reminder that everyone linking is pouring their hearts out and we should all be respectful in our comments. ;)

Sometimes I let my bad side escape myself. I get to that breaking point when something just rubs me the wrong way and my blood really boils. I spew foul language and curse about whatever it is that has irritated me. This is the last straw and I am tired of trying. I have finally hit my breaking point when it comes to how my brother and his wife had been.

I recently wrote a post about some family complaining. I have asked my sister in law if they would be coming to the party. She has not been solid on her answers and has beaten around the bush. I finally went to the horses mouth (my brother) and asked him if they would be here. He acted as if his wife had never brought the subject up to him. I am not surprised. Her exact way of handling things is to put the excuse off on him but not really ask him. Then make the decision without his input.
The same way she handles everything when it comes to OUR ( my brothers, my parents)family.

Why not!!?

It's not important to her.

So today I was talking about Little E's party with my parents and it came up about my brother.

My dad tells me they will not be coming. OH REALLLLY??

I asked him who told him this tidbit of information. Of course my brother tells my dad that they will "probably not" be there. And why would he tell our father? Is he the one throwing the party? no!! Seriously?
My sister in law could have called me herself. We used to talk everyday on the phone when I was working. She could have the decency to call me and tell me her pathetic excuse. That is all it is. How many times did my husband and I drive to their house for my niece and nephew's parties?

Does she forget the party I came to for her son when I was soo sick and thought I was possibly miscarrying Little E?? Of course not!

She is again only thinking of herself. What is the reason? What is more important than family?
Well the way I look at it, is that family will screw you first. They figure since they're family that they can treat you like crap and you will forgive them. Not this time.

I remember a same brother who wrote the nastiest, hateful email to me and my parents 4 years ago when we did not attend his daughter's soccer tournament. I really would like to pay him back with the same respect he gave me then. I was soo pissed off today that I cannot wait for my opportunity to give them the same treatment.

I know it's not the Christian attitude to have and I know I will never write an email to him. But in my category of people in my life. They have hit an all time low.

I was so infuriated with learning this news from my dad that I couldn't help myself and I got pretty mad. I let it consume me for at least an hour or longer. I kept mulling it over and over. I just couldn't get over the audacity of my brother telling my dad!

My husband was sad for Little E about part of my family not being there. I'm not going to make a big deal about it around my son. They are not what is important. I don't even want to call them. I hope that none of them call Little E tomorrow. Because at this point they should either show their face at the party or not bother.

Wednesday is his birthday and we are celebrating it family style! Then this weekend we will be having the BIG party.

Beautiful Blogging

I have been rewarded with the Beautiful Bloggy award by one of my newest
followers Two Monkeys & a Washtub.
Thank You Beth!!

This award comes along with some RULES
1. Thank the person who gave you this award.
2. Share 10 things about yourself.
3. Pass the award along to bloggers who you have recently discovered and who you think are fantastic!
4. Contact the bloggers you've picked and let them know about the award.

10 Things About Me
1. I never leave the house without putting on makeup. Even if I'm going
to the gym, the beach, out on the boat or going to work in
the yard.
2. I have this crazy obsession with buying groceries when they're
on sale or a good bargain. I have food in two pantries, probably enough
to eat two weeks on.
3. I wear a size 11 shoe and I'm only 5' 8" tall. I hate my big feet.
4. I was born with a head full of curly hair and then my hair went
board straight from ages 3- 12. Then I got a perm and it was if it recharged my
curls again and I had wavy, curly hair until a year and half ago when I chopped it off.
I needed to get a mom haircut since I wasn't a twenty something anymore.
5. I am now a minivan mom.
6. I love to hand wash my dishes versus using the dishwasher. I find
leaving dishes in the dishwasher is so gross with all those germs clinging to
your plates, cups, knives. Ewww.
7. My husband likes to go hunting and camping and this year will be our
first time taking the kids camping because Little E is finally old enough to
stay in the mini tent with Miss K.
8. My husband was first my friend before becoming my boyfriend.
I told my mother that I had no interest in him and it was true then.
He was so sweet and I discovered that I loved him.
9. I used to write poetry and short stories all the time when I was in my
teens and I stopped writing after I met my husband. My blogging
has become my outlet for my love of writing.
10. Since I have been home and not working full time anymore
I have been trying to make something different for dinner every night.
I'm getting pretty creative and my husband is loving it!

I pass this Beautiful Blog award onto beautiful blogs

Blog Bash 2010

Blog Bash

I stopped for a moment and thought about "what would I be doing if I
wasn't blogging or if I never knew this world exisited?"
It's hard to really wrap my mind around that.

How it all started

My cousin had a blog
and she invited me several times to come read her blog.
I stopped in a few times and thought oh, that's cute.
Then I broke down in October 2008 and created My Crazy Kind of Wonderful.
I didn't even think very long about the name for it. When you've got
two kids under the age of 5
and you're working full time and trying to be a full time mommy
well that's just a crazy, wonderful part of life.
It just popped in my head. I'm a go with your gut kind of girl and
when my gut tells me something
then I know it's a good thing.
I started blogging to show off photos of my children and talk about what was
going on in our lives.
I really got active in my blogging this year.
The economy had gotten slow and work was pretty boring during the
mornings. I started blog surfing and found some great blogs to read.
I participated in a couple weekly carnivals and it opened my creative side back up.
I found myself writing more posts, reading more blogs from fellow bloggers
and it started coming full circle.
I am blogging for me.
because I love to write and I'm not getting paid
for it and who cares if what I say isn't right but I like it.
And it's ALL MINE.
It's a wonderful feeling.
The biggest reward I get from blogging is the support and friendship from
fellow blog friends. People that I feel I know so well without really
knowing them in real life are some of my best
friends. They don't judge me or critisize me.
We know each others strengths and weaknesses
and we're not afraid to spill out how we feel.
I love the honesty, compassion and encouragement.

My name is Tiffany, I am a mother to two, wife to one
and this is my blog.
I love taking photographs of my silly kids, laughing at my nutty husband
and cuddling with my houseful of animals.
I find joy in making my kids happy and cooking meals from
scratch. I am always on the look out for a bargain, a new recipe
and jeans that make me look skinny.
I am embracing my life now as a stay at home mom in my 30's
and revamping the look of Betty Crocker.
Pull up a comfy chair or car seat or whatever you have handy and
relax and stay awhile.

Why don't you join me?
